Phylogenomics
Phylogenomics working group co-chair:
Scott Keogh (Australian National University) and Craig Moritz (Australian National University)
We are using exon capture methods to generate high quality sequence data for orthologous genes, from all reptiles and amphibians native to the Australo-Papuan region.
We aim to include representatives of recognised subspecies, as well as cryptic species. Samples are being sourced from tissue and specimen collections in Australian and international museums, including type specimens where possible, as well as fresh samples that will be vouchered.
